A Lifelong Passion for the Ocean
For Bruce, our Head of Growth and Strategy, the ocean isn’t just a place – it’s where he feels most alive.
Inspired by his idol, Bruce Lee, who once said, “Water flows through the whole body and is the origin of our physical abilities,” Bruce found a personal philosophy in the fluidity and strength of water.
Bruce grew up exploring the ocean, finding a sense of peace that he couldn’t find anywhere else. Today, he spends countless weekends at the beach with his wife and two kids, introducing his son to the ocean – quite literally – by “tossing” him into the sea when he was just 4 months old (while staying right by his side, of course). “We’re all children of the sea,” Bruce often says.
When Bruce ventured into the finance world, he knew he wanted his work to reflect more than just numbers – it needed to reflect his values. This vision led to the creation of Hai Money and, ultimately, Blue Whale Money – a brand dedicated to building a strong financial future for our clients and an even stronger future for our oceans.

Why We Support the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS)
For 60 years, AMCS has been the leading voice for Australia’s ocean wildlife, championing initiatives that protect endangered species, reduce plastic pollution, and safeguard critical marine habitats.
Their hands-on approach, transparent advocacy, and history of real, measurable outcomes made it clear that they’re the right partner for us. By supporting AMCS, we’re investing in proven efforts to secure a healthier future for our oceans – one where blue whales and countless other species can thrive.
As such, for every deal that is settled, Blue Whale Money intends to donate $200 to the AMCS, because protecting our oceans isn’t just a commitment, it’s a part of who we are.
